Kanishtha Dhankhar
This Mumbai-based model won hearts with her brains at the Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2011 beauty pageant held on Thursday night at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai. Kanishtha Dhankhar, who is not new to the modeling and has walked the ramp for some of the best designers in India, became Miss India World 2011 piping beauties Ankita Shorey who was crowned Miss India International 2011( first runner-up) and Hasleen Kaur – Miss India Earth 2011 (second runner-up).
Both Kanishtha and Ankita are from Mumbai while Hasleen is from Delhi.

The judges for the contest included the lovely Prachi Desai, stunning Kangana Ranaut, Fardeen Khan, Dino Morea, fashion designer Ritu Kumar, Leander Paes, director Tarun Mansukhani, producer Sajid Nadiadwala and Shiamak Davar.
The event also saw some sizzling dance performances by the Bollywood babes. If Anushka Sharma danced to Haule Haule, Malaika Arora was once again on the stage doing her famous Munni Badnam jig. Sonakshi Sinha paid tribute to the former Miss India and Bollywood’s iconic actress Zeenat Aman by swaying to Chura Liya Hai.
Hard Kaur, music band SQS and television actors Gaurav Kapoor, Sushant Singh Rajput, Harshad Chopra and Gaurav Chopra also gave performances.
Sajid Nadiadwala declared another beauty Ankita Mohapatra the winner of the ‘Bollywood Diva’ title. The doe-eyed girl will be cast in a film under the Nadiadwala Grandsons Entertainment banner.
